Parents!
We have heard from parents that toy shopping for their special needs child can be very confusing. Parents say it is difficult for grandparents, friends and neighbors to make choices for the child in their life with a disability. Here are some tips for using AblePlay:
- Email the site link to your friends so they know about this new resource
- On each AblePlay Product Review™ there is a link "Email this Page to a Friend". This way you can share information on a specific product.
- Using the "printer version" button, print off AblePlay Product Reviews™ to give to your children's teachers, babysitters or respite workers. In addition to product features and more, these reviews include creative play ideas.
- Create a handy AblePlay™ Reference binder with print outs of AblePlay™ Product Reviews for the toys you have purchased. This will give you an easy reference on the products before and during playtime.
