Part/Whole Relationships

Wacky Links are comprised of 15 multicolor, supple, silicone straw-length tubes and 20 multicolored hard plastic multi-pronged connecters that serve double duty as “charms”.  Wacky Links players are encouraged to cut the tubes to different lengths in order to create a variety of craft items such as bracelets, necklaces, rings, back pack charms, belts, anklets, headbands for themselves or to trade with friends and family. Wacky Links are offered in several themes, including "Rock 'n Roll Forever", "Safari Adventure", "Winter Wonderland", "Ocean Adventures" and many more.

Linkits is a 95 piece, multicolored, odorless, EVA foam building block set for all ages.  The box includes three block sizes: oblong blocks with 2 holes, hollow circle blocks, and solid circulars block that fits in holes of the other two types of blocks. The blocks are lightweight, versatile, and inviting to twist and turn to join them together.

A bright, colorful and whimsical memory game with pieces constructed of sustainable wood. Players’ baby frogs take turns hopping around the pond on lily pads by identifying and remembering the removable adult froggy eyes that are blank underneath. If the eye that is turned over has a baby frog on it, the player is then “frozen” in place on his / her lily pad until the next round of play. The game lends itself to a variety of modifications for all levels of play.

Every feeling has a face! Magnutto Make-A-Mood is a creative way to help participants identify, process, and react to feelings and emotions. Make-A-Mood is a laminated cardboard box that converts to a colorful easel with two blank faces. The box contains over 100 foam magnetic pieces of facial features, accessories and scenic elements that participants and / or facilitator uses to create faces on which to base discussion or role plays.

Comprised of 18 large, interchangeable block pieces, children are able to assemble six characters representing familiar professions.  In addition, two-sided stand-up cards are provided for more play variety and learning. One side provides the name of the profession in six languages and a photograph of a child in the matching “uniform”, the other side provides one section of mural of a town with the profession’s matching work environment. A “More Ideas to Play” brochure is also provided for developing thoughtful conversations about possible career paths.

Weplay’s Icy Ice building blocks consists of 28 - 9” and 28 - 4” hollow yet sturdy plastic snowflake-shaped pieces in blue, green, white and orange. The blocks can interlock along their edges, allowing players to click the pieces together in three dimensions to create abstract designs or more recognizable objects as simple as a flower or a butterfly, to a ferriswheel or mama duck and her ducklings. Illustrations are provided for inspiration or for players to replicate; the design possibilities are infinite!

Traditional scissors require a user to have the motor strength, accuracy, and dexerity to insert fingers into the grip holes and squeeze them together while holding the object firmly and steadily in the opposing in order to successfully cut into an object.

Find It! is a closed ended clear tube filled with multi-colored pellets and forty small objects “hidden” among them. The hidden items are related to the tube’s central theme (Dinos, At the Beach, Glitz & Glamour, Discover America, Pirates, Starry Night, Kids, Wildlife, Mythical Creatures, Made in Washington, Eww Gross, and Original), and are listed on the tube end cap. Players shake, roll and twist the tube to uncover and identify the objects.

This Mozart Magic® Cube is a symphony of sound in a one-piece unit.  Each side of this electronic music cube has one large button.  When pressed, the instrument pictured on that side plays a classical Mozart melody and a light flashes to the beat.  Add different instruments to the composition by pressing buttons on the different sides of the cube.  The five instruments (flute, violin, piano, harp and French horn) can be turned on and off by pressing the corresponding button.   An orchestra button will play all the instruments when pressed.
