• Get out dress up clothes and find pretend microphones to have a dance party while singing along to your favorite songs. 

Adaptation Ideas

Bluebee Pals can be used for AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) practice! Connect electronic AAC devices or practice other communication aids with Bluebee Pals. Children can use their Bluetooth enabled communication app to make their favorite animal talk!

Play Ideas

• Hide Bluebee Pals around the house for kids to find using their hearing as a guide. Caregiver can play music intermittently as kids get warmer and colder to the plush.
• Caregiver can help a child make their own plush to feel the stuffing, glue on the eyes and puffy paint the mouth.   

Adaptation Ideas

• Caregiver can create a small sachet of a child’s preferred scent (lavender, citrus, fruit) and place in the Bluebee Pals Velcro pocket to stimulate the senses.

• Use doll clothes to dress up the Bluebee Pals to enhance pretend-play activities and advance fine motor skills like buttoning, zipping and tying.
• Kids can practice caregiving skills by taking care of their “sick” Bluebee Pal—making it soup, taking its temperature and covering it with a blanket.
• Kids can express their creative arts by being a photographer. Dress up Bluebee Pals and set them up in different scenes to take their picture and share with others!
